Q: Who receives assistance from The Furniture Bank?
A:
Families and individuals supported by over 60 different social service agencies in the greater Houston area. From this network of charitable agencies, needy individual and families that are living at the extreme poverty level (approximately 70%), come to The Furniture Bank with a variety of issues; physical and mental disabilities, senior citizens with little or no income, victims of domestic violence, single women with children, people recovering from chemical dependency, veterans, refugees, individuals suffering from AIDS, and natural disaster victims like Katrina and Rita.

Q: What is a Partner Agency?
A:
Partner agency is a non-profit community service organization that brings families and individuals in need to the Furniture Bank. These agencies sign an annual agreement to qualify clients and pay a service fee buying vouchers. Click here to see a list of our Partner Agencies.

Q: How do the vouchers work?
A:
Partner agencies can purchase vouchers. A pack of 25 vouchers is $250.00. Vouchers are exchanged for furniture items at FB. One voucher is exchanged for one used piece of furniture.

Q: Do you deliver furniture?
A:
Unfortunately FB is not yet able to deliver. However there is delivery service available for a minimum $80.00.

Q: What kind of donation do you accept?
A:
Furniture Bank accepts home furniture and furnishings in usable or "gently" used, condition. Furniture in need of repair or upholstery is NOT accepted.

Q: How do I schedule pick of my usable 'gently used' furniture?
A:
